Testimonial

What is more beautiful than giving myself and my guests a gift that contributes to a world without hunger?

“I celebrated my 65th birthday, proud grandmother of five beautiful grandchildren; Actually, I have everything I can wish for. I have been closely involved in The Hunger Project for years, so the choice to give as a gift to this goal was quickly made.”

You can do this.

Your birthday, baby shower or anniversary investing in a world without hunger can be in all kinds of ways. We’ll help you get on your way with some ideas:

  • Start a Fundraiser via Tikkie. We’d like to create a personal touch for you. 100% of the donations will end up with us right away.
  • Create a personal action page via The Hunger Project. Even then the donations will automatically enter our account. Gull donors can pass on a personal congratulation, and we’ll keep you posted on the end result. All you got to do is celebrate your party.
  • Put down a homemade donation box for envelopes. Or collect all donations from your own bank account. You can easily transfer the total gift amount via our donation page.
  • As a gift, give an online gift to The Hunger Project. Guests easily transfer this via our general donation form, or via your personal action page.

I am happy to work at The Hunger Project: We are committed to a world without hunger, and that is feasible! Through your contribution, you invest in people, people who believe they can do otherwise, who initiate change and inspire others. On the way to the end of hunger for everyone. How beautiful is that!

Changemaker Nalia

Initiative begins with yourself.

Nalia (33) is a single mother of two children and works in the tailoring in Malindile, Mozambique, where she is also chairman of the animator team. She has plans for her own tailoring company, has already determined the location and aligned the construction plan with a builder. Only the finances are still a challenge.

Thanks to training from The Hunger Project she has learned to take initiative herself. She says about female empowerment: “It’s not just about the community looking at the role of women differently. Women must also learn to take their place and to improve their lives.”

I’d like to share my party with others!
